A couple of days ago I had the pleasure and honor (and many other big words) to take photos at TEDxVienna with the topic OUT THERE (check the website). And I must say it was pretty much out there to photograph many beautiful people, listen to the talks and meet the most inspiring human beings. But see yourself.
It all started pretty early. 9am for the attendees and 7:30 for the team. And what are you ready to do to listen to inspiring speakers?
This is so real and OUT THERE. The whole event was about discovery and ideas which go beyond the usual.
The most amazing audience OUT THERE.
The Viennese Technical University made this amazing experience possible: A VR Space Jump. It must have been amazing.
Ronald Mallett and the attendees talking about time travel. I missed the talk unfortunately, but it was said, it was mind blowing. I’ll link it here, when it’s online.
Some delicious Wraps by Wrapstars. Mmmmh.
The food OUT THERE was amazing, too.
Our youngest speaker Joshua Beckford is a truly remarkable kid. Being only 11 he is already an Oxford student. I’ll link you the talk when it’s online.
Our second-youngest speaker Jakob Smilg was trying some Virtual Reality – which I don’t really understand to be honest. But it looked impressive.
Vienna has a pretty stunning architecture from outside. This pretty ordinary theater I was passing for two years blew my mind, though. It is the most pretty theater I’ve ever been to, I swear.
The most amazing aspect of this event was the great team behind, working for months to make it all possible: the speakers, the design, the sponsors, partners. I don’t know if you’ve ever thought of it, but it’s an incredible effort to organize such an event.
I’ve done a lot more photos than those, find them all online soon. I’ll link it here.
NOW you: Have you ever attended a TEDx event or helped organizing one? Tell me about your experiences!
